Created a pilot
for Reality-based TV programming of campaigns
As a part of the Sustainable Revolutionaries campaign that was developed
by students at the World Summit on Sustainable Development, Pop Sustainability
and TRAFIKAfilms had a live crew on the scene capturing all the critical
moments. From those decisive introspective moments to the victories and
defeats, this video documentary of 6 young adults who never met before
not only attracts attention but keeps it. The fast pace of this two-week
long campaign made for a particularly intense experience for these zarticipants
as they delve into important issues, overcome information
overload and just keep moving and shaking. This take on activism has a
hard-hitting social impact for entertainment and is already inspiring
many to get involved.

Game Development
Pop Sustainability partnered with Parsons School of Design in New York
City in January of 2002 with the objective of developing a game that can
be played with the hottest new mobile technology while promoting understanding
and engagement in creating a more sustainable world. This Parson's team
and its advisors have expertise in game theory, technical development,
graphic design, Internet design and marketing and communications. The
design and pilot-testing phase was completed in May 2002. This game is
a global awareness-raising tool for implementation through the broadest
array of technology platforms in the US and internationally. The game
supports the promotion of, and the interaction with, the Culture Challenge
teams.
Launched Thinkpop.org
Launched in September 2000, ThinkPop.org is bridging the worlds of youth,
arts and culture, and the power of activism. ThinkPop.org is a platform
for emerging artists, writers, and socially conscious young people interested
in an array of sustainability issues. ThinkPop.org aggregates high-quality,
original content with a message about sustainability that is written by
and for college-age, educated, young people from around the world. In
a dynamic, stylized, media-rich environment, ThinkPop.org connects young
people to each other and to positive social action. The site is rounded
out with resources for action and links to major information outlets,
organizations, and opportunities to contribute or participate to the movement.
ThinkPop.org also provides the communication tool from which to coordinate
all Pop Sustainability activities globally. Critical to the success of
the Culture Challenge, this web site is updated continuously for content,
context and style.
