The evening showcased a wide range of talented artists' works for reasonable prices. The talented young R&B artist Ihsan wooed guests with her luscious lyri cs and upbeat sound. In the background, a video crew captured the undertone of conversation about the viewpoints of attendees on the issue sustainability. Noshing on fine organic hors d'oeuvres and wine, guests got a mouthful of the evening's message.
The UNESCO-sponsored UN Decade of Education for Sustainable Development begins in January 2005 and goes through December of 2014. The UN Decade's purpose is to spur on programs that promote local, national and global awareness of the goals of sustainable development.
