Become a Volunteer
By participating directly in a joint effort with members of the entertainment, advertising and business communities, you are part of an elite group of people who can significantly impact public perception. We want you to participate because Pop Sustainability believes that you can make a tremendous difference by doing so. Volunteers are needed in the following areas: fundraising, corporate sponsorship, advertising, concert and artist relations, local events, issues of Sustainability, legal and accounting, business development, information technology, youth marketing, public relations, creative services and office management and support. Participate In an Event
Over the years Pop Sustainability has put on events, both locally and internationally to spread the word of sustainability. Events such as an ecologically friendly fashion show, a sustainable planet film festival and a Halloween Party featuring reduced, reused and recycled costumes, continue to make issues of sustainability hip and fun.

Pop Sustainability will continue to bring you local events such as the recent Long Island Wine Tour that featured locally grown organic foods and wines. Develop Your Own Campaign
Pop Sustainability has developed and has internationally tested a new awareness campaign formula. Our global campaigns use this model, as do the campaigns designed by students at universities internationally who undertake their own campaigns with our support. This campaign framework uses cultural expressions to communicate a message to our target audience, bringing about a greater awareness of sustainability and instigating positive action. Pop Sustainability will provide training and resources for college students who wish to run a campaign on their campus. Themes may include: prevention of HIV/AIDS, access to education, empowerment of women in leadership roles, water management or alternative energy initiatives. Link Your School
Sustainable development and sustainability are relatively new concepts and have not yet entered into mainstream media or pop culture. As young adults are the leaders of tomorrow it is important now more than ever that we are training people to solve problems as they are created, holistically. Pop Sustainability is creating a critical mass of college students, young professionals and youth organizations who care about the future of our world and are willing to take action in their own lives.
